Omaha High/Low is the O in the “h.o.r.s.e.” It is the world’s second most famous variation of the poker and even the second most famous online poker game, known as the Omaha Eight also or just the Omaha 8/B. A most general limit style is the pot-limit actually that means the bet is limited to a pot’s size, but when one plays this game in a “h.o.r.s.e” variation, it would play in the limit style.

Omaha Low/Hi is much similar to the Texas Holdem, but you will get dealt with 4 whole cards in this game, instead of two. There are four stages: the pre-flop, the post-flop, the turn and the river, with the betting round after every stage. Then arrives the showdown, every player has to create a best poker hand and a low hand in the best quality, but there are some rules which say that one has to use two of the whole cards and 3 cards out of the community cards . The same cards can be used to create both the hands. To qualify to the low all those cards should be lower than or equal than eight. Ace-two-three-four-five is the possible best low hand, eight-seven-six-five-four is the possible worst low hand.

Double Suited: This means that 2 cards which have the similar suit while those other 2 cards have different suit.

Scooping the Pot: Implies taking the complete pot! It means that you’ve won the low and the high hands.

Things You Need to Know:
1) A best starting hand is the Ace-Ace-Two-Three (double suited).
2) The Quads are very bad at the Omaha Hi/Low, since you have to use two of your whole cards and three cards from community cards.
3) The Limit Omaha Hi/Lo isn’t a bluffing game, not much as the Texas Holdem.
4) When the players begin to play the Omaha 8/b one thing that is far from truth is that they think this is a game of luck.
